I'm running for the State House to champion the hard-working families in Montana by fighting for affordable housing, stronger public schools, and better healthcare.This campaign has taken on a new urgency. We are seeing extreme politicians and billionaire corporations actively undermining our democracy and squeezing the working class to enrich themselves. Fighting for a thriving middle class and protecting our republic are now the same fight.I'm running to vote out the special interests and ensure our State House truly works for the people.

I’m running as a Democrat for Montana House District 6 because our community deserves practical, common-sense leadership focused on strong schools, responsible growth, affordable housing, and real help for working families and seniors.<h2>Montana roots</h2>My family and I are deeply rooted in the Flathead Valley. Neighbors know me from youth robotics and Python classes, and local fundraisers. We live, work, worship, and volunteer here—because community isn’t a slogan, it’s a habit.<h2>Service first</h2>I served in the United States Navy during Desert Shield/Desert Storm and Operation Provide Comfort, including transits through the Suez and Panama Canals. The military taught me discipline, teamwork, attention to detail, and mission focus—values I’ll bring to Helena.<h2>Problem-solver by trade</h2>Professionally, I’m a seasoned software engineering leader. I’ve led teams that build reliable systems—from machine-learning tools that help people make better decisions to data pipelines that keep critical services running. In plain English: I listen, diagnose the issue, and fix what’s broken.<h2>Community matters</h2>Beyond work, I’ve spent years mentoring youth, supporting local nonprofits, and pitching in where needed. I’m especially proud of helping seniors through volunteer programs and empowering kids with hands-on tech education. <h2>Securing Our Rights, Empowering Our Families</h2>I'm running for the State House because my deepest conviction is that public service means building a community where everyone can thrive. A year ago, I committed to being a steadfast champion for working families, teachers, and small business owners—and that commitment remains the heart of my campaign. We must focus on the essential issues that define daily life in Montana: fighting to make housing affordable, keeping the cost of living in check, and strengthening both our public schools and our unions. These are the policies that allow the working class to thrive, and they will be my priority every single day in Helena.<h2>The Urgent Defense of Democracy and Liberty</h2>Today, however, the fight for economic justice is inseparable from the fight to protect our core freedoms. We are facing a dangerous combination of forces—from extreme political figures who openly disrespect the rule of law to billionaire corporations that view citizens only as a resource to be exploited. When these powerful entities write the laws and put themselves above accountability, the working class is left fundamentally under the law. This imbalance is unacceptable, and it is actively eroding the democratic principles that Montana was built on.This is why my campaign has taken on a profound urgency: we must defend the bedrock of our liberty. This means a relentless defense of civil rights, including the freedom of speech for every citizen, and the fundamental right to be secure in your person and possessions from unwarranted government intrusion. I am deeply concerned by rhetoric promoting a politics of fear, the creation of what amounts to a secret police, and the casual discussion of using the National Guard to invade American cities. A functional democracy cannot tolerate the use of government power as a weapon against its own people.<h2>Putting the People's House Back to Work</h2>At all levels, we've gotten used to politicians that prioritize their personal power and ideology over the Constitution and the well-being of our neighbors. I am running to draw a clear line: every single politician who attempts to undermine the rule of law must be voted out. We save our republic by ensuring our elected officials adhere to the highest standards of integrity and serve the public, not their donors or their own fantasies of power and influence.This is more than a policy platform; it is a commitment to the foundational values of Montana. I will fight for a State House that honors the law, empowers our workers, and respects the rights of every single person in our district. I ask for your support to help me make sure the people's house truly works for the people.
